Yes, there are antiques, collectibles and artisan decor along with vintage items, of course. From metal signage and collectibles. Hand crafted quilts and hand crafted art.
Like fudge? They have locally made incredible fudge at the counter so you won’t miss it! Classic candies from your youth? Yup.
Home decor pieces abound..just siting there daring you ..or maybe begging you to take them home!
We saw a beautiful child sized garden bench we’d never seen before.
Then there was an entire booth of handmade wreaths. Another area was filled with extremely detailed handmade gift cards. There is even a ‘storefront-in-a-store’ called Vintage Soul that features vintage denim jackets and a host of collectibles and artisan decor pieces.
Their motto is “Find Your Treasure” and it fits. When you visit be sure to keep in mind their location is at Lancaster and Rickey St SE, but the large parking lot is behind and below a Carl’s Jr. Turn onto Rickey street and you’ll find the lot on your left, just down the hill.
The Main Street Emporium is an antique and vintage store inside a former 1915 JCPenney
Its like the antiques and vintage could have been sold there originally when JCPenney opened their 39th location. The building and inside architecture are worth checking out alone.
Main Street Emporium offers beautiful antique and vintage furniture, pictures and frames, lighting, wall decor, old tins and vintage kitchen items. We saw Victorian and Eastlake pieces and Arts and Crafts era furnishings, too. The inventory is constantly changing so stop in often.
You’ll find shabby chic painted furniture and mid century items for your home. We saw a great dinette set in their vintage kitchen area right in the display window. There was an entire vintage bedroom set in perfect condition, too.
Don’t forget to go upstairs for vintage clothing and name brands, too.
The entire upstairs gallery is racked with clean vintage clothing for men and women – no smells here. The name brand resale items are in great like new condition. Racks of well organized garments. Then there are the vintage hats!
If you like to decorate with antiques and vintage you’ll love the Main Street Emporium.
Look for the nick nacks, boutique sundries, handmade gift cards and more at the counter. Main Street Emporium is a modern version of a 1915 JC Penney.
