Timeless Antiques & More is a vintage mall located at 281 S Second Street in Independence.
The shop sits on the corner one block in from Main Street. This vintage and antique mall keeps expanding. Everytime we visit it has taken over more space in its building to accommodate more dealer/vendors.
The front desk has jewelry in the counter case. There is a large showroom floor with a wall of tall glass door cases at the back stretching from one side of the building to the other. On top of those cases sit a zillion lamps, all plugged in with shades glowing. They say “pick me”. You’ll know what we mean when you drop in and see for yourself.
Look at these images of the showroom floor… that’s only one half of it. There is another row on the other side of the shop just as packed. The antique pieces range from furniture to travel steam trunks, and then you’ll find a great glass topped patio table sitting right there on the floor, too.

An antiques, shabby chic store inside a big shopping mall? Salem Center Mall has antiques.
Junk Trunk Boutique has antiques, shabby and cottage chic, painted furniture, and even mid century style furniture we could have sworn was from the Eames catalog.. but is actually hand crafted by a local furniture maker. Check out the pergola as you enter when you get there. One of the artisans built it for the shop, and you’ll wish it was in your garden.
The antiques are in great shape and are unique.
We saw a travel trunk that was so perfect it looked like it belonged in a steamship stateroom, or perhaps as a vintage a display for travel goods in a boutique. The white painted iron garden furniture we saw was a complete suite. There was a bench, two chairs and even a small matching table, all surrounded by garden decor to take home.
Then we saw the shabby and cottage chic painted furniture.
Need a chandelier for your personal bath? How about a vintage vanity with its original beveled oval mirror?
